The decor/furnishings were a bit dated, but you could tell that mgmt has worked to keep the hotel clean. I was impressed with the bedding, shower water pressure, staff friendliness and the breakfast options.

Nice hotel!

The room was spacious and very clean. Check in was quick, check out was quicker. Breakfast was excellent and had various hot entrees each morning, and the dining room was kept very clean. The pool was great and also very clean. This hotel is close to everything in Sycamore and I would very much recommend and stay again.

We always love to stay at Country Inn & Suites but this location was not nice at all. There was blood or some other red liquid splashed on the wall by bathroom garbage can. Tiles on the wall in bathroom were cracked and coming off the wall by the shower and carpets were filthy (stained and old),

I arrived and the elevator was broke and I was in the third floor. Then when I get to my room the refrigerator still had food in it. Also the comforter had blood on it. Housekeeping was not quick to do anything.

Unfortunately, this was our worst stay at Country Inn and Suites in Sycamore. We have stayed here many times in the past. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke; the chair in the room had worn off leather down to the cushion. The linen was not clean, as there was hair stuck in the washcloths. The upkeep on the property is just not there.
