We were there by 12:00 noon but check-in wasn't until 3:00. We were offered an upgrade & were able to get into a room right away. We were also given an 11:30 check out as we booked the shuttle to the airport for 12:00 noon. The breakfast the next morning for $6.99 was good & convenient as well.

Older hotel, was clean and comfortable.
This is an older hotel in need of some updates but everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was super courteous and helpful. I would stay here again. Great transportation from hotel to cruise ship ports. Then on return from hotel to the airport.

Quick stay before cruise
Overall, we had a good experience. It was a quick stay before we left for a cruise. Staff was friendly and the accommodations met our basic needs. Our main frustration was the shuttle service from the airport to the hotel. We waited for about 45 minutes from when we called to when we were picked up. There were a lot of people being picked up around the same time so that may have been part of the delay but it was still frustrating after a day of travel and getting in late. The shuttle from hotel to the port was great though!

Red carpet.. maybe no celebrities but an A List ex
The hotel was located close to both the airport and the nearby amenities. The rooms were large and clean and also had a fridge and microwave. The airport shuttle was completely reliable both ways, they also have a large pool and loungers. If you're looking for a stay in Fort Lauderdale that doesn't break the bank, the red carpet has friendly staff, is super clean and has more than basic amenities. Strongly recommend, close to everything, free airport shuttle and pristine rooms.
