The people!
Was in Mazatlan for the holidays. Stayed with friend for 8 days and then four nights at the hotel. The people were fantastic. The reservation staff was very helpful, restaurant and front lobby to those cleaning etc. really appreciate the friendly and efficient of everyone.

Great Value for a Comfortable Stay
This hotel is on the Melecon. The hotel and pool area are kept super clean and are in good condition. We also appreciated that the hot tube water temperature was actually warm. This is rare in mexico..The staff were all wonderful and a special thank you to Marcos the manager.
The negatives were: a little noisy on the Malecon, only two people in hotel spoke english and the internet needs updating. The internet speed was good but it dropped out often requiring resign in. I would also like to recommend to management that they add drawers for clothes storage.
Overall though because of the great staff and up keep of hotel we rated this highly. For the price this hotel is great value.

Good location.
Good staff.
Bad breakfast buffet.
On our last day, there was no running water in our room, and i didn't like that nothing was done to inform us.
When called to reception one person told us that it was going to take about 20 minutes to get it fixed. Then, after a while they said they did not know but, they got water in other rooms???

The hotel staff told me I could use the "business center" to work however there is no longer a business center area, there are still the signs pointing that is available for guests but when I went to work there the area was taken for more office space. The internet was beyond terrible and there is not enough parking space for the hotel guests, I had to park on the street which is extremely bad as the hotel is located in a very busy area. I would never book in this hotel ever again.

About the service, terrible. The only one that had a proper service was the maid. The rest of them need some training about being helpful. They have the same elevator for staff and guests so it could be around 15 min waiting for it. The parking lot was always full, if you’re lucky you find a spot otherwise you have to park it in the next block. I’m not coming back to this hotel. I wish I knew all of this before making my reservation.

Staff was very nice. What we didnt like was that the rates are pricey for a room. On top of that the A/C was not working how it supposed to and beds are not so good either. Also tour agency downstairs, they offer you to go have breakfast and know the property at the royal villas which are owned by the same and tell you one thing and its different when you get there. Example they told me i was paying for breakfast 100 pesos and end up paying 175 pesos.
