Rude Service
When we arrived we tried to check in early since we had flown into town. The receptionist snapped at me "no you can't check in this early, geez, we are sold out last night" as if I was supposed to know that. I assumed we wouldn't be able to check in but her attitude was terrible. Then we had to check our bags at the Bell Hop. Before I had even gotten my ticket he said (we depend on tips, please tip) Yeah, I planned on it. How about not asking before I have even gotten my ticket. Not a great way to start the trip. The room itself was fine, clean enough. The hotel has been remodeled but the bones are pretty old, lipstick on a pig IMO. Not a great hotel, but the location is good.

Hot Water Needed
Everything was good about this stay except one MAIN, IMPORTANT thing for me when I travel. There was only luke warm water on both mornings of our stay. When I am on vacation, one of the things I look forward to the most, is my "wake-up" hot shower. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Good affordability
Overall everything was operational, clean, safe, satisfactory. It's a good central location on the strip. Much more affordable than the surrounding properties. The bathtub spout didn't quite reach the tub so it spilled some water onto the floor. The bathroom faucets had the hot and cold water reversed (meaning handles were on the wrong side). But they worked and the drains weren't backed up. The standard King room was a nice size and the bathroom had a nice size and layout. The TV had a line on the middle of the screen anytime we watched it. Not sure if it was bad cable signal or a defective TV. We could still get the the information we wanted but it wasn't perfect. We enjoyed seeing Shania Twain in the PH Theater ❤️ Great show! The venue there is good. The Casino was clean and well managed. We aren't a fan of smoking but the airflow overall was good unless someone is smoking next to you. Restaurants were all fine. 2 Starbucks. Hollywood Cafe was busy in the morning and the food there is good. We had dinner one night at Gordon Ramsay burgers and it was underwhelming. Completely adequate but not a celebrity food experience. Twice as expensive but essentially tavern food like we get at home. PH is a well managed good venue. It won't be your superstar hotel experience, but it won't be a disappointment or disaster.

Stay at PH with Family
Overall stay at PH was good. The location is great as you are just about in the middle of the strip and can walk in both directions. PH has the Mile Shops which is nice as well as family-friendly food spots. The down side is that the hotel is quite large and difficult to navigate through. Check in was simple as was checking out. The rooms are large and clean. Overall a good stay with the family.

I haven't stayed at Planet Hollywood for about 3 years and boy has it changed. So much more run down, it was sad. Loose plumbing fixtures, torn carpet, peeling wallpaper... disappointing.

Hotel staff was fine, but the room was super dated and felt like we were in a basement bedroom even though we were on the 7th floor, I dont even think the bedroom ceiling was a full 8 feet high. Don't think we will book here again, but on the bright side the casino had a good vibe.

Hotel charges 40 bucks for checking in 30 minutes early. I wake up the the next morning snd theres no water. Had to get to my trade show and heard it wasn't back on until afternoon time. No apology, no notification. Didn't complain, asked to check out 30 minutes later reason to gamble a bit more before my flight. Front desk tells me another 40 dollars for late checkout. I only stayed here because CES surge pricing was monolithic. Dont bother with this hotel/casino.

Resort Fees? Parking fees? What's next $$ 4 towel
Decent place, no coffee machines and tons of cutbacks around the hotel in general. Will they charge you for towels next? I'm also disappoint that the "Resort Fees" weren't included. Also be prepared to pay a 18 a night parking fee and a huge walk from the parking garage.

Pleasantly Surprised!!
After having my flight delay twice, i didn't arrive until 3am. So check in was no wait. However, later in the morning, there was a line. Luckily i called ahead and i had 7 minutes to be checked in since i had delays. Room was suppose to have a king sized bed, i ended up with 2 queens. Which at that point, i didn't care. I was too tired. The room was gorgeous. The tub...i wanted to take that back home!! Haha!! The bed was so comfortable and soft, which surprised me!!! Wish the room had a fridge but not a deal breaker. Its workable. I had a great view of the Sphere. I just overall enjoyed mh stay here! Planet Hollywood is officially my new favorite hotel in vegas!

A great stay
Not sure why the rating is low for this hotel but I found it fabulous! The room and bathroom was spacious, the bed was comfortable and all the amenities were there. I stayed 4 nights with my husband and couldn’t find any complaints, especially given its location. I will certainly book again with them when I return to Vegas.
