The layout was good for three people, but the bathroom has little privacy, so make sure you are at home with your roommates. Our sink was plumbed backwards so we often got a mouthful of hot water after toothbrushing. The pool being closed was disappointing, but it looked beautiful if you go in the summer. The location was great. We walked and trained everywhere.

Lovely and clean property. Staff are friendly. Location is great!!! Will definitely recommend. Close walk to Placa Catalunya but also quiet area. Great restaurants, chinese, japanese and filipino food. Love the pool. My family enjoyed our holiday because we have a nice place to come home to. Stayed there for 6 nights.

Excellent staff, very accomodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. One staff recommended a restaurant around the corner called La Flauta, excellent seafood and service. We had 2 rooms and with 4 minors, one was handicapped, hotel was accesible for handicap people, able to use the wheelchair easily. Overall, very satisfied with our stay. Will stay again at Ako Suites, if ever in Barcelina again.

The hotel was a very nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean. It was a little weird having glass walls for the bathroom even if they were frosted. It also would’ve been nice to be told about how the lights work as it was a first time international travel. Very conveniently located to many shops and food places. Such a beautiful area and city!

The best hotel we had during our 2 weeks stay in Barcelona/Mallorca, even though our stay at Iberostar Alcudia Park is also very good. Staffs is helpful and treat us nicely. Room is clean. The house keeping team did a very good job every day . I had a very early check out because of our flight and the process is pleasantly handled. The receptionist call the taxi at exactly right time and the trip back to the US is quite enjoyable partly because of that. Thanks guys

We got a room by the elevator which was very noisy. The room couldn’t be locked from the inside so housekeeping entered without warning. The shower is made of glass and located in the middle of the room which was uncomfortable. Apart from that the location is pretty good and the service as well.

The hotel is convenient to various metro stations and there is a lot going on in the area. The room was clean, but needed some maintenance. We were in a room near the elevator and people coming in/out could be loud, even late at night. They charge for coffee pods, which seemed a little cheap. Overall just OK.

The Venezuelan woman at the front desk was wonderful throughout our visit—my apologies for not asking her name. Beautiful common areas. Although rooms do have stovetops and supplies, they are not “ideal” for cooking as they are really just one space divided into living areas. Steam from the shower permeates the entire space as do cooking smells. There is a TV in the living area, but it is ceiling mounted at a height that would strain your neck unless you were laying down. The space works best for eating if you bring pre-prepared food. Very convenient area though.

This hotel is actually nice and clean. The only reason for the 3 star rating was the fact that we were about to miss our transportation when we left because of staff negligence. I asked them twice to call a cab for the morning of departure. I asked in person 24 hours in advance and again before I went to sleep and both times they confirmed the request was there and they will take care of the cab. Only to find out that when we got downstairs ready for the cab, there was no cab and the front desk person called and said that they have no cabs available for 15 minutes. We ended up walking/ running with luggage to the train station that luckily was 1.5 miles away. I don’t even want to think what we would have done if we had to go to the airport. This experience left a bitter taste in my mouth and cannot give more than 3 stars. A whole vacation could have been ruined but for our good physical condition to run to the train station.
