A Good Smelling Room is important
I think they should air out the rooms, especially during non peak times. It smelled pretty musty. Windows could use a rinse and the floors could use a deep clean. Previous customers food was found in fridge. Dying plant at the top of the stairway. Details count. If it wasn’t for the smell, I would have rated one star higher. The overall look of the place was inviting and it is in a good location. Easyish to get to the shops especially since they are adding a walkway so you don’t get hit by speeding cars on a bad turning road. I did like my orange and apple for breakfast? The community space looked out to the harbor and looked inviting. Not sure if I would go again or just keep looking for my coastal go to place.

Nice Bayview motel.
It is a nice, 10+ room hotel behind the harbor. Clean and well kept. Only thing not quite up to par was breakfast. That consisted of a small prepackaged bag of granola & milk, apples and oranges. That was all. I would stay here again.

This is our favorite hotel on the Oregon coast - centrally located and an easy walk to the beautiful boardwalk. Heads up, however, there are no dressers or closets/hangers. Staff could not be nicer!

Great choice in Depoe Bay
Our 4th time. Quiet well appointed smallish room but with a view of the harbor and a really great public area with fireplace for meals brought in and games, yoga etc. coffee and tea throughout the day and amazing muesli self serve at breakfast.

Not the cleanest
Beautiful lounge, cute rooms with a hammock chair and scenery thru sliding glass doors. However, the hotel is pet friendly, and our room had dog hair all over the vinyl floor. The edging around the edge of the tub and the grout around the sink was very dirty, Looked like it had not been cleaned in quite some time. Walking on the floor and taking our socks off at night, there was white pet hair all over our socks. We don’t have any pets…. The hotel rates very well, so it could be that they just forgot to vacuum or clean the grout areas…. The granola for breakfast was very good with lots of nuts, etc. added.

Such a cozy spot on the coast! This was our third time here and we enjoy it every time. Rooms are cozy and the view is serene. This time around, a couple of spots were missed by the cleaning crew, but nothing that affected our stay. Note that breakfast is typically homemade granola, milk and fruit, plus coffee and/or tea. I enjoy that but I know not everyone does.

The staff were super sweet and friendly and the hotel room was clean, comfortable and had a balcony overlooking the bay where you could see otters swimming. The room also had unique features that made it cozier than most hotel rooms like a hammock and a sound machine and fireplace. We would definitely stay at this hotel again next time we are in Depoe Bay!

Good enough for a single night. Yet it’s kinda odd that there is only a singe staff member for 2 hrs in the evening. Then 3 hrs in the AM. Walls are super thin if I can hear them they can certainly hear us situation (awkward).
