Cheap hotel, Excellent staff
It is a very dated and run down hotel, they are currently going through a remodel, we had 2 rooms, neither room had a bathroom door that would close all the way and the one room had a shower head that was so clogged you only got water out of a few spouts. It's a no smoking hotel but the rooms around us all had active smokers in them, you could smell it badly in the hallway and occasionally in the room. The front desk staff were incredible, the manager and the woman that worked the two afternoons/evenings we were there are lovely. They without prompting gave us extra toiletries and towels and were a breeze getting us checked in and out, as well as chatting with us about local things and what to watch out for. I give the hotel a 2/5, I give the staff a 5/5. Give the front desk ladies a raise or a bonus or something. The hotel rooms are the definition of "you get what you pay for"
