The hotel itself was nice. The management is not. When I made the reservation, I was given a choice by Expedia to pay immediately or pay at the property. I chose to pay at the property. However, I noticed they had charged my credit card a day before. Upon our arrival I told this to the person at the reception desk. He shook his head and said you reserved through Expedia. It's Expedia! Then he gave us a room on the first floor. I requested to change it to higher floor. He said OK at first. Then he said you reserved through Expedia, right? He added I cannot change your room. The rooms dedicated to your selection through Expedia are on the 1st floor. He refused to change our room. I was taken aback by his response. It was about 7 pm at night when we arrived at the hotel. I saw a sign for the restaurant. I asked him where exactly the restaurant was. He pointed to the way to restaurant. Then he said unfortunately the restaurant was closed. I could not believe what I was hearing. Finally, after having dinner at a restaurant nearby we arrived at our room which was a few steps away from the bar and next to the kitchen!! There was no bottled water in the room. The next night we arrived at our room, we saw that our bed was not made, and there were no complementary bottles of water. We went to the front desk; and told this to David at the front desk. He said "We don't give out water, you have to buy it, and we don't do the beds unless you are staying more than 7 days. Disappointed!
