Only one of our two room key cards actually worked, and then it took multiple attempts to get ut to work. The bathroom door handle fell off when we went to open the door from the inside. Other than that, the stay was great.

Average hotel with no frills. Pool is very small but hot tub was nice. Staff was friendly. It was snowing when we arrived in the afternoon and no care had been done to the parking lot 18 hours later. It was very slippery. Only the 10 feet surrounding the entrance were shoveled/salted. Breakfast was decent. Great location.

Last minute Christmas Day emergency stay. Affordable, simple, dog friendly with ok breakfast. The shower was old and dated. The hotel overall was ok, though Id imagine a family coming here to go to Gurnee Mills or Great America would love the location, indoor pool, and price.

It’s cheap and I’ll stay again
The hotel served its purpose as we were just sleeping there while visiting family. The hotel is not top of the line and doesn’t have very many amenities. You get what you pay for. All the staff are friendly. My big complaint was Hair in the drain that grossed me out every time I brush my teeth. And the parking lot was not plowed and we often slipped when heading to the car.

Not clean, but friendly
Check in was simple. Took awhile though as the front desk lady was talking to someone on the phone in the back about Christmas shopping. When we got to our room. Our restroom was dirty. There was hair in the sink and on the toilet(we had a dirty towel as well). The pillow cases had blood stains and stained yellow. With the experience we had we decided to not try the breakfast or pool. Front desk was very friendly though.

I had a great time at the hotel during my stay. The location is convenient, because it is close to a shopping mall, attractions and many dining areas. Customers service was excellent.The only issue I had was with my bedroom. The furnitures were not that great, specially the bed I was sleeping at. It felt like it was going to fall down. It certainly needs repair. Also, the sofa and other things in the room appeared old and they were many visible torned spots.

We got there around midnight with 2 kids very tired. Got to room and keys didnt work so back down to desk and had to wait 10 more min till they finished with another complaining customer. Back up to the room to put kids to bed and pull back covers and sheets are all wrinkled with many long black hairs on sheets. Called desk to complain and they asked if we wanted them to come change sheets! Of course we did. We waited another 25 min for someone to come change sheets and they brought disgusting stained sheets so had to wait till they went and got other sheets. As we went to sit on couch and wait we were disgusted to find someones toenails on couch. So disgusting! Front desk did finally change sheets and clean up toenails. Next day went to shower and long hairs all in bathtub so it was obviously not cleaned either. We would have left as soon as we saw sheets in beginning but all hotels in area were booked up for whole weekend. Needless to say we did not stay another night.

Both days we stayed, the breakfast ran out early and no one bothered to replace it. Our toilet seat was cracked. The manager just walked in our room with no knock or anything and said it was an accident. The pool and hot tub smelled really badly like mildew.
