Poor Quality Establishment & NOT value for money!
Tired hotel, I was “upgraded” on check in, the room (newer room) was ok, but basic housekeeping poor, heating very warm, no AC, stiff and small towels, shower very hot or very cold, wall sockets and usb sockets not working. Had a coffee machine. Was moved to a new room for my remaining 2 nights as requested a room with facilities that worked given the in excess of £300 per night, more dated and smaller room, still poor housekeeping, lime scale build up, shower gel tray, falling off the wall, toilet so close to the wall that the toilet roll holder was in your leg and no coffee machine. The room that I moved from was also then given to another guest as they couldn’t fix the issues, so kindly made it another guests problem. Staff appeared to be trying to to be accommodating but in reality turning rooms without any compassion. Am trying to follow this up with Marriott directly but no response so far….
