Fun place with a cool vibe
We enjoyed our stay. The Saguaro is a fun place. A Monday/Tuesday stay was pretty quiet. The pool is amazing and there are plenty of spots to work on your tan. Front desk service was friendly and very helpful.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. Generally quite a charming refurbished motel. However, the dj music BLARING and THUMPING from the pool all day Saturday was almost intolerable. We could even hear it from the shower in our pool view room. That may be fine for some guests, but we were driven away from the pool because of it.

Not a good stay
When I arrived with my family of 5, two adults and two kids with a baby. I had reserved a room with two beds. They told me they overbooked and were sorry but they had two rooms they could give me. I said that’s not going to work with an infant we need to be in the same room. After some talking they said they could do the suite with a pull out bed and the sofa couch. I thought it would be ok for my two older kids. The sofa couch was hard as rocks and was super uncomfortable my 14 year old couldn’t even sleep on it I’m not sure how they have something so uncomfortable in a hotel closets. The rooms were so run down it felt nasty to even walk around without shoes. I was looking. Forward to staying here but it is so gross I wouldn’t waste your time. Nothing like the pictures they show, This I ls the definition of false advertisement. The elevator doors have so many marks on them, the hallway carpet is discussing. The room we were in was shaking at one point. ( felt like an earthquake) we were the room closets to the elevator, my friend was also staying there near us and her room was shaking as well.I was super bummed about our stay, and will NOT be booking here again.

Great
Overall, a great stay. The decór and bright colors are so fun! The pool area is really nice, with two jacuzzi’s and music playing throughout the day. They have hammocks, a bocce court, and cornhole. The room is spacious and came with a mini fridge. The hotel is close to downtown and was a short uber ride to the bars. My only complaint is that the walls seem a little thin. I could hear our neighbors partying until 4am. The vibe is young and fun and they have a bar on site. I would not recommend staying here with children, regardless of the time of year.

Insta worthy but basic as a hostel
This is listed in the top most instagramable hotels but that’s all it’s good for, taking pics that look fun and bright and fashionable. The actual hotel, hallways, rooms etc. are so basic (cheap furniture) and dirty. Our room was not cleaned well, damp smelling carpets, dirty walls, bathroom floors not mopped. I had been looking forward to this hotel for months and was so disappointed. I had read the reviews warning me but hoped this was just intermittent experiences. Also I paid for a pool view suite sleeps 6 but there was no bedding for an extra bed/pull out sofa. The front desk sent someone to make up a single pop up bed under the air conditioner and it was so basic. There was no pool view, when I told them we wanted a pool view they said it faces towards the pool and would not move us. I would have paid about $150 max for 3 ppl not $400. I would recommend this hotel if you plan on spending all your time at the pool because that was the best part, order some drinks, take some insta worthy photos and get too drunk to notice the hostel style filthy rooms. With a full revamp this hotel has so much potential and is a cool design. I hope they strip it back and update the furniture and carpets.
