Overrated and expensive
The hotel has a stunning view of the Bay and specially on the new years eve it was quite a view of the fireworks. But that's about it. Tiny rooms, super expensive, low end breakfast (the breakfast area is a tiny corner next to the checkin counter). The spa water is the only water they have, it tasted of rotten cucumber probably frona day ago. The bathroom was so tiny I couldn't believe it. Everything was clean though. The bed was low quality spring mattress. Carpets all over. It was okay for the new years eve because of the view, I wouldn't recommend it for any other occasion.

One night stay.
This hotel makes a great impression. The staff are so kind, helpful and effective. I had only a tiny window of time to meet with my cousin and we did it in the wonderful lobby enjoying complimentary coffee and pastries. My room was hard to get toasty, but it wasn't cold. Amazing shower with a hand-held head. Everything was immaculate. Its a very short walk to the ferry terminal which is full of shopping and restaurants.

Very reasonably priced for a central hotel, short walk from the Embarcadero and one of the cable car lines. Room was small but modern, clean and comfortable. Good coffee maker, comfortable bed and enough storage space. Evening wine reception and continental breakfast are a nice perk.
