One night in Harwood
From the moment I arrived the service was fantastic and the property was great. Very cosy modern classic interior to the pub. The room was immaculate and had everything you might expect from a hotel room. I will be back.

Charming Hotel Inn in Oxfordshire countryside
Lovely inn in quaint Oxfordshire village. Food and service were excellent and we had a charming cosy room in the Eves of the hotel. Would highly recommend now it is owned by two brothers who clearly take great pride in delivering a wonderful experience.

Awesome.
Whoever put this place together, take a bow. For rooms at a pub, it is amazing. The food is also awesome and staff really friendly. I’d happily take the wife away for a weekend here. Good job.

Very impressed and loved the location. We went to go to Lionel Richie and came back late but the manager was still on hand when we asked for a bottle of wine on our return. The room was super comfy, amazing amenities in the room! Loved it and will definitely come back Xx

We loved everything! The room was meticulously clean and spacious and very comfortable. Everything a guest could need was provided and very well thought out. The inn staff and restaurant staff were all friendly, knowledgeable and attended to our every need. We love this place and hope to return many times. And the food is to RAVE about!! Do not miss eating here. Whether it’s the breakfast or dinner it was all delicious and we stayed 8 nights and had breakfast and dinner here many many times. The pub is very warm and inviting and cozy and spacious! Our favorite place ever!

Over-charged & non existent customer service
Check in was not friendly nor welcoming. The hotel was nice & food in the bar was good but service behind the bar was off hand and no real ale. We were over-charged. An extra payment for over £90 has been taken, but despite calling numerous times no one has got back to us.

The bedroom wasn't very big but the bathroom was with a big walk in shower. The heating was left on in our bedroom all afternoon and all evening. We only found out when we came back from eating outside and the room was absolutely boiling. You couldn't leave your hand on the radiator, it was so hot. We managed to turn it down but being a cast iron radiator the room temperature didn't go down for hours and didn't make for a good night sleep. We did mention the problem to reception but they were quite vague about how to turn the radiator off and although they mentioned contacting the management, we never saw or heard anybody. A nice young man from reception did bring us some cold water as he could see how bit the room was.

I was staying mid week for business purposes. The pub looks like it has recently been refurbished and the décor is nice. The biggest problem for me was the speakers for their sound system is mounted on the roof and one of the speakers is obviously right underneath the bedroom I was staying in (Bladon). I went down to check if they had the sound system on loud but they didn’t, it was on an “ambient” level but the sound really carried through the room. I asked to be moved and the guys said that they will switch off the sound system at 9.30pm. It was such a noise that I could hardly hear the TV in my room!! I wouldn’t want to stay in that room if it was a weekend and the pub was open later. I went for a meal at their restaurant, it was a bit chaotic. There was only 2 young lads working and the restaurant was very busy. They later told me they have 10 rooms and every room booked for an evening meal, then they had walk ins and normal bookings on top. They were far too understaffed but it was a Tuesday evening so perhaps they weren’t used to it. To their credit the pair of them were charging around none stop, taking orders, clearing plates, delivering orders, serving at the bar I honestly don’t know how they coped! Kudos to the pair of them as it looked manic and I am not going to score them down for a bit of a delayed service. The food was decent, I had the duck nothing to get too carried away with but nice all the same. The location is a bit in no mans land. I had meetings in
