Used to stay at this location (under different hotel groups) and never had issues. Front desk staff has no customer service training. When walking through the door to check in, we weren’t greeted with a hi or hello. The first words from desk were “last name”. Front desk attendant asked for my card, when I asked why my card was needed he said to book the room. I then stated I booked and paid through Expedia. He then said I still owed $100. Come to find out it was needed to put a hold on my card in case of damages, which is okay, but why not just say that?! After checking in, went to elevator (only one working) and once we were inside we were greeted by a roach crawling on the wall. Upon reaching room, it smelled like smoke (non smoking room), bedsheets/comforters were visibly dirty with stains, headboard was visibly dirty as well but hidden behind the pillows. In the bathroom, there was an opened and used bottle of soap left. Shower were also dirty. In the middle of the night woke up to a bug crawling in the bed. Completely disappointed. I have never had an issue before at this location. I’ve had a reservation booked for a few months now for an upcoming date at the end of November and I will more than likely be cancelling it.
