This will definitely be the place I'll be staying at when I come back to Egypt. The staff, the people, the place, everything is excellent.

This was my second time at Dahab hostel and I would go back again :)
The location is perfect, the people there are super nice and the rooms are clean and have everything you need. The terrace is also amazing to relax within the hectic city

I got in early from a trip to siwa and I was able to check in early yet they also let you store your items and take a shower if room is not available. Very friendly perfect for a quick layover in Cairo or to be in the center of all the action with walking distance to Egyptian museum.

The hostel is very organized! Good rooms, clean bathrooms and good showers! I was really surprised about the conditions! The staff are helpful and polite! The share living spaces are comfortable and there are many people from all around the world, it's a good place to know different people and have fun. Moreover there was a lot of cute cats in the hostel! It was surprisedly good! It's worthy

Great little place with an amazing rooftop, very friendly and helpful staff, good location, tasty breakfast and great atmosphere.
Unfortunately the amount of mosquitoes is just something else - we could barely get any rest as the whole night you just fight with the annoying beasts. Because of that I would definitely choose another place next time. Shame!

The location is quite good, as it's a very short walk to a nearby supermarket and a liquor store, a bit further away is Sadat metro station and various places to eat. Plenty of showers and toilets. Kitchen was equipped for real cooking and has a fridge. Plenty of sitting places around the open areas. I'm not sure what the smoking policy is but guests smoke everywhere.
I was in a room with 2 beds but it had no shelves nor a table or any storage to put stuff in or on. The door had a wide enough gap between the jamb and the lock to require two turns of the lock to lock it securely. If someone was smoking at a neighbouring door, the smoke would sometimes penetrate thru the gap. Sound insulation of patch strip of metal around the room window is nonexistent, and two rooms I've been to had the same flaw, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Lift works but the minder has to be called by reception to send it up to the 6th floor. Too many cats wandering around. Allergics beware! Breakfast for 50LE was minimal. Heritage hostel serves a slightly better breakfast and it's included but it has its own foibles (see my review of it on booking)

My single room had only a comfortable clean bed, a light and a fan. The room and the bathroom were very clean. The staff was friendly, and the hostel had a nice vibe. It was centrally located was in the middle of busy area. Very safe and walkable. I only had one dislike. The elevator only goes to the 6th floor, however the hostel is on the 7th floor. So you have to walk up about 20 winding stairs with luggage. There is no call button to to summon the elevator up. The staff has to call to the elevator man to sent the elevator up. I felt stuck a few times because he stepped away. A staff member then has to go down 7 flight to bring the elevator up. Once I had to walk down myself. For.that reason I would not stay here again, as I am a senior and have a knee inplant. Other than that issue my stay was good.
Pretty typically hostel. Nice staff. It’s all outdoors, on a rooftop, so not sure how comfortable that would be in the summer. WiFi was decent. They had staff continually cleaning the bathrooms and showers. Room was fine, nothing spectacular, or horrible. Really close to the Egyptian museum, not far from a subway stop. Lots of restaurant options within walking distance, even a couple of bars and drinkies next door (one of the few places to purchase alcohol).
