Good accommodation for the money
Very central location, right on St Marco square. Breakfast was very good for the money. Room size was big for two adults and a kid.

Awful
We didn’t even stay. The room was so awful. It was full of mould, not clean with hair all over the bathroom. The room was falling apart and smelt like sewage. We spoke to the receptionist who was swearing at other customers and over charging them for tax. We tried changing the room but he didn’t want to know. We haven’t got our money back and haven’t heard back from the hotel. We then had to pay out for another hotel

NO A/C be aware in Italy they wont turn A/C in these months. Regardless of what they offer on amenities. Thee rooms are small and hot. All of them hotels even if they say they have A/C. It was hot as F. The lady in front desk seemed P.O. at the world. No manners or Customer service skills. Just blunt face and no nothing. Heres your keys get out of my face thing. F that.

Good location, weird set up down the road
OK so here's the deal - the hotel says they have a lift, ummmm, sure if you actually stayed in that location. We did not, they have another location (maybe others too??) down the road so had to trek our stuff down the road, the guy gave us the passcode and was like here, open the door, go up the stairs and find your room - ummm no room numbers, no help with luggage, super weird! Anyway, once we tried our key on multiple doors, we found ours, the room was big (that's a surprise in Europe!), we had 3 of us, so a King (we had them split it to 2 beds) and a pull out (wasn't bad at all). Next day, we go to leave, ummmm, he had quickly said do this to open and do that to close and then the reverse to leave, took us a few mins to figure it out - sheesh! All in all, the location was great, the room was spacious but super weird set up down the road, difficult door and zero help with bags - the housekeeping lady was there when we were leaving each day so at least she understood what we needed since going to the main lobby was hit or miss if anyone would be there.

“If you’re looking for a fantastic location in Venice with a welcoming and friendly staff, this hotel is a great choice. The included breakfast is a nice bonus. However, the room could use some updates. Overall, I’d recommend it for the location and hospitality!”

I asked to cancelled our reservation because the the unexpected situation in our country. Our flight was cancelled by air flight company so we couldn't come. You didn't accept our request and decided to collect the full price. I thought you'll understand the situation and keep this payment for the the time we'll have flight and come or not collect the money. BUt you didnt.

Good points: The property is so close to San Marco plaza which is why I chose it, and there are some small restaurants just steps away from the hotel. Bad points: safe didn't work (it looked to be about 30 years old and was missing pieces), broken hair dryer, very, very poor lighting and no natural light (I had to use a flashlight to pack my bag), mosquitoes in my room. Very hard bed.

Excellent location, quirky and memorable hotel, good service. After reading some of the reviews we were unsure what to expect but we had a pleasant surprise. The staff are professional and courteous, our room was spacious and very clean, cleaned on a daily basis and towels replaced. The breakfast was a typical Italian continental breakfast and contains juices, yogurts, meats and croissants, plenty of choice available. Lovely showers and pleasant facilities plus round the corner, less than a minutes walk from St Marks Square. We would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in close proximity to San Marco Square. We found the rooms very small for 2 adults. No space for our luggage. My partner had to put his luggage on top of the cabinet. No air conditioning so it got very hot in the room. We opened the windows to get some air. Bad move. We were attacked my mosquitoes. We killed around 3 and one stayed during our entire stay. Elevator very small and slow. Would not recommend for people with mobility difficulties.

Too hard to handle
Great location, quiet and clean room but the bed was very hard and the pillows harder still. I have never experienced such a hard pillow and it interfered with my ability to get a good night’s sleep. That in turn detracted from my ability to enjoy Venice.

One of us found a bedbug crawling on her hand one morning. Staff relocated us to nearby Hotel Diana, assuring us that there would be no bedbugs there. When I woke up the next morning, I noticed a blood stain on the pillow, and later noticed bite marks on my right arm. Luckily, neither we nor our clothes carried bedbugs or their eggs to our next destination. The complimentary breakfast was adequate, though the coffee tasted strange.

The hotel didn't leave up to our expectations, staff was not welcoming, no explanation for anything, room was not ready as mentioned when it was booked, breakfast was not available at the time mentioned, therefore we didn't get all the services we paid for. Bed and pillows were not comfortable. The place hasn't been dusted in a while it seemed. I had runny nose, scratchy throat and teary eyes all night from the dust from the cover i took in the cupboard. I wouldn't recommand this hotel to friends or family.

Property was in an ideal location in the historic center. A/C was not on so we had to open the window. Our room was next to an alley which was very noisy at night. The hotel had a bar, but was never open.

Our room was on a different street than the front desk. To reach our un numbered room required tracing through a maze of stairs with low ceilings and an elevator to exit to a floor shared with 2 other hotels. Fun maze , but confusing. Breakfast room smelled funky like a backed up sink after a week in the summer
