An experience we won’t forget
Once we arrived at check in, another guest was complaining about bed bugs in her room, showing a picture in the lobby! We checked our room and there was No bugs ! We didn’t receive room service for the entire time, from check in on Saturday through Monday. We talked about the possibility of staying an extra day at check in, and decided that we would not due to the lack of care ! We never was offered new towels or trash removal. We called and requested room service and was promised that room services would come by and never did. I paid cash for my pet deposit upon check in with staff member Kim, she was wonderful !!! The next day , I received a call from another staff member, saying I wasn’t authorized to have a pet and that the $278 dollar pet deposit wasn’t paid! The staff member went on to tell me that my room wasn’t a pet room, I couldn’t be in there, even though the hotel staff is the one that placed me in that room! Even though I told the lady I had paid cash, she argued I had not , it wasn’t on file, until I dropped Kim’s name, and that she could verify with Kim and I would bring the receipt down , then she found it on file that I had paid the $81 dollars & some change ! We were given drink coupons , to be redeemed for the next day, only for us to be told that the bar was closed the next day and wasn’t informed that the drinks were served at the restaurant part, until after our departure by another guest who is staying there. The other staff doesn’t like dogs!
