As a loyal Hotels.com customer who books often, I was shocked by this experience. The listing features over 80 photos, many irrelevant or misleading. The first photo shows a beautiful waterfront view, but the property is not waterfront and far from any such location.
The conditions were unacceptable. No blankets were provided, my children and I became sick from the cold. The bathroom was dirty, with hair from a previous guest in the drain, and the shower flooded due to poor drainage. The toilet sink also had drainage issues. No basic toiletries were provided, just two unlabeled, dirty refillable containers. No towel rack was available, and towels were placed directly on the bed, where they could easily fall or be laid on by kids. Housekeeping was minimal, only removing the bathroom bin,no towel change, no cleaning, and no supply restock.
Midway through the listing, the property is described as a “B&B,” which is misleading,no breakfast, no staff, and it operates like a shared apartment with hostel-style rules.
There were no standard hangers, just a few broken ones, not usable for pants or towels. The shared kitchen was smelly and unclean, with greasy appliances, dirty dishes, an old sponge, and little detergent. The TV and remote were poorly maintained.
Customer service was only through WhatsApp, with slow, defensive replies. No concierge was available.
Avoid this property. It fails to meet basic hospitality standards and should be listed on Airbnb with honest disclosure.
