So glad I made the 1 mile trek up the railroad tracks to this hidden gem in NorCal. There is officially no trail, but park your car above Shasta Retreat then walk through town to the railroad tracks. Follow along the tracks for about a mile and when you come to the first bridge over the Sacramento River look right. You'll hear them too. Follow the path and you will be stunned. This picture only covers part of the falls. They are 200 feet wide and are Springs pouring out of the rock face. I'm so glad I didn't let the fact that there was no trail stop me. Do beware there's trains. 2 passed me and they come close. Well worth the risk!

Trimmer Arch is a classic, round-topped arch, the best such specimen in Ohio. The interior opening of the arch spans 14 ft. and is nearly 9ft tall. The arch itself is Greenfield Dolomite. There are no marked trails to speak of but if you want to find the arch, here are the coordinates; Lat; 39.294853 Long; -83.372753 Paint Creek Wilderness Area is a 5,090-acre wildlife area at the upper end of Paint Creek Lake.
