Niantic is a lovely, small Connecticut village on Long Island Sound. It is charming. Plenty of family-owned restaurants, walkable, summer naturally has the most traffic, but it moves well if everyone is patient. Lots of arts and crafts fairs.

Niantic is nice but the area around the hotel is currently under construction
"Could use vacuuming in hallways and stairwells. The outside needs a good landscaper pruning bushes, etc. — Touching up areas needing repair. -/ The room was clean, staff was nice. Great stay"

"I don’t know what the negative reviews are about but I had a great stay. Check in and staff interaction was great. I bring my own cleaning products and there wasn’t a single bit of dirt debris on my cloths that I used to clean the surfaces. Bed was comfortable. It was affordable, no complaints at all."
