He was fluent in English and was always helpful and happy to help and translate. We spoke with him for almost anything we needed during our stay. The breakfast is worth the extra money to get. It was the best breakfast I have had in Southeast Asia. Great food! The hotel is a little further from the sites...

For us, we found this hotel was isolated from the main part of the town of Xi'An. We needed to take a taxi to get into the town centre. Apart from that, the room, the staff and the food were all at standard of what we would expect from the Grand Hyatt group. For us, the location wasn't the best."
